The Challenge
Construct components of the exhibition based on designs by Alison Ross, the concept for the fit out involved a complex arrangement of geometric shapes, each one unique in its shape and size.
The Solution
The light boxes, plinths, lower fascia and pelmets were all CNC cut to the exact millimetre in order to fit precisely together like an oversized puzzle. The lines and shapes created were highlighted by hundreds of metres of LED lighting which lay behind the fascia and pelmets around the full perimeter of the room. Materials used in the construction included MDF, aluminium, polycarbonate twin wall, acrylic and gyprock.
